The importance of sync licensing in the music marketplace gets bigger and bigger. For this reason, Midem 2014 will host several events which are dedicated to this subject. The conference “Sync it or leave it“, which will take place on February 2nd at 4.00 pm, will explore the different ways to submit music to the right people (music supervisors, directors etc).
The conference will feature professionals working in the field: JT Griffith, Nike internal music supervisor, Timothy Riley, vice president of Music Affairs, Kyle Hopkins, head of music supervision for Microsoft, Nis Bøgvad, director of Music Supervision at Music Sales Group.
Have a Sync will attend Midem 2014, the main event for the music industry.
Representatives of music publishing companies, record labels, promotion agencies, music supervisor will participate to the fair, which will take place in Cannes at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. Our staff will be available for catalogue submissions.
Music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas from Chop Shop Music (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Carrie’s Diaries, Gossip Girl, The O.C.)will participate in a Keynote Q&A at the Billboard Hollywood Reporter Film and TV Music Conference. The event will take place on October 30.
Patsavas will talk about her career, how the business has changed and how she selects music.
The 4th edition of the Future Music Forum, event dedicated to music business and innovation will take place on 13th and 14th semprember 2013. It will also host workshops concerning several themes, from digital distribution to mobile industry.
Some workshops will also concern synchronizations.
